My Experience of Rishikesh Haridwar Tour by Thrillophilia
My cousins and I decided to plan a Rishikesh Haridwar tour, a few weeks ago and discovered thrillophilia while looking for suitable and affordable packages. After reading numerous positive thrillophilia reviews, we decided on the appropriate package. In hindsight our trip was very well planned thanks to Thrillophilia, and everything was done exactly as stated in the prospectus. Thrillophilia had been very helpful with organizing our trip and looked after everything from booking flights to setting up tours around Haridwar, Rishikesh. We talked to their customer care person and they briefly explained each aspect of the trip, be it the timings when the tour would start or the places which would be covered.
Start of Our Journey and Welcome by Thrillophilia:
We started our journey to Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Mussoorie from Delhi where a representative arranged by Thrillophillia tagged along to help us reach Rishikesh. On our way to Rishikesh we took a break in Haridwar before resuming our journey.
Later, we reached The Vaishno Devi Mandir in Rishikesh where we marveled at the wonderful sculptures and admired the architecture that dated far back to around 1000 B.C. The temple is really unique as one has to climb several floors and pass through a manmade tunnel to finally get the darshans. After that, we visited the Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple along the way which is located on the banks of the Ganga.
It’s said that this temple is where Goddess Parvati (Sati) jumped into the holy fire. In the evening we took our time to explore the famous Mansa Devi Temple at Har Ki Pauri Ghat, with phenomenal panoramic views of Haridwar City. We offered our prayers and spent more time there as we had a sense of peace of mind.
Later in the evening, we witnessed the famous Ganga Aarti where we heard the chanting mantras and reflection of the diyas off the surface of the holy river. For a minute the whole area around us was reflecting back the aura and sound of the hymns, it was really peaceful. We also took the holy dip in the river and headed to Rishikesh. When we finally arrived we checked into the hotel and enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel.
Shivpuri and the Local Markets:
After a fulfilling breakfast and a gorgeous morning in the highlands, we got ready to commence the second day as we were transferred to Shivpuri, from where we went rafting until we got to Laxman Jhula, there we experienced the exhilarating rapids of the glaciated Ganga. The experience was actually thrilling and filled with adrenaline just as mentioned in several thrillophilia reviews.
Later, we took a tour of the bustling city and tried various foods and went shopping in the local markets. We even explored different attractions of the city, like the iconic Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. We had lunch at a cafe before we spent our time by the river. The food at this local cafe was really good and the flavours of the mountain made us have a little extra. Later, we went to Mussoorie before it got dark and the checking in process at the mussoorie hotel was hassle free as everything had been meticulously planned by thrillophilia.
The Views and Beauty of the Mountains:
The next day, we were greeted by a breathtaking vista of the mountains as we woke up. Later during the day, we went on a short trip to Dhanaulti where we explored the Eco Park which is homage to a diverse range of flora, including native Deodar, Oak, and Rhododendron trees. Along the way we witnessed many endangered bird species and were out of breath as we hiked along the magnanimous mountains taking in the stunning views of Doon Valley and the Himalayas.
The park was so beautiful and alive with nature that we lost track of time as we all participated in different thrilling activities based on thrillophilia reviews like Zip Lining, Sky Bridge, and Valley Crossing. We later returned back to Mussoorie and headed directly for a picnic to the wonderful Kempty Waterfalls which is a popular tourist attraction near Mussoorie as mentioned in several thrillophilia reviews. There we went trekking for a few hours through Gun Hill which gave us outstanding views of the Majestic Himalayas. Later in the evening we retired to the hotel to sleep off the day.
On the fourth day, we woke up to realize it was our last day of our trip. Concluding the trip, we reminisced about the last few days over breakfast and then proceeded to head back to our rooms to pack before we checked out of the hotel, and reached the airport for our flight back home. Everything was meticulously planned by thrillophilia, and the trip proceeded as stated in the prospectus. To conclude the whole experience, I would strongly recommend Thrillophilia to anyone looking forward to planning an exhilarating trip in future.
